Description from manufacturer
The racket has a drop shape, medium balance, and a sweet spot located in the upper part of the hitting surface. The core is made of X-Eva material, which consists of three different layers. The two outer layers are stiffer to provide good response on harder hits, while the inner layer is softer to increase comfort and aid on lighter hits. The hitting surface is made of 16k carbon fiber, making the Babolat Air Viper the hardest racket in the new Viper series. It has a grooved structure and a sandpaper-like finish that Babolat calls 3D Spin+, which is meant to provide maximum grip. The new Vibrasorb System reduces vibrations and improves comfort. The system is integrated into the racket's neck above the handle and reduces the risk of injuries such as tennis elbow.

Very good control, feel, and speed, but too small of a sweet spot, so many lobs and blocks become poor with a bad hit.

Appreciate the control in the racket, however, I feel that the surface (16k) is somewhat too hard and not very forgiving.
