#Greenpadel was released back in 2021 and immediately became a great success. Much of this is because it takes the sport of padel into a new era concerning environmental thinking around rackets and the materials that are often used. For 2022, adidas has expanded the #Greenpadel collection, which means that adidas really takes padel to a whole new level where they have chosen to think outside the box for classic materials and created the completely unique material Flax Fiber. Flax Fiber is made from natural linen and has extraordinary properties when it comes to durability and light weight. The material also has high stiffness and absorption capacity despite a lower density than the popular and environmentally-friendly fiberglass. Unlike many other materials, Flax Fiber is 100% renewable, reusable, and biodegradable. All this has been woven into a round padel racket with medium balance and a soft EVA Soft Performance core with a strong focus on control. On the surface, adidas Spin Blade technology has been used to give you more grip on the ball. The frame is made of carbon fiber, and new for the 2022 version of #Greenpadel is that the racket has been given the very popular Dual Exoskeleton frame, like the other models in the adidas Adipower series, to give you better stability throughout the racket. Who wouldn't want to do good for the world while winning on the court? The racket is part of the adidas #GREENPADEL initiative, which means that adidas plants 3 square meters of their own rainforest to reduce CO2 emissions by 50 kg.
