Description from manufacturer
A soft hitting surface and light weight are important characteristics for an easy-to-play racket. Babolat's Vertuo series is the perfect choice for the player who wants an easy-to-play racket that, thanks to a soft hitting surface, provides accessible speed. Vertuo Air has a hitting surface made of soft fiberglass. With a softer hitting surface, the player gains access to a larger sweetspot where even mis-hits get extra power in the shots. Air is the lightest model in the Vertuo series and therefore the easiest to quickly swing through the air. The hybrid-shaped racket head is agile which helps you get to the ball correctly. Light weight, soft hitting surface, large sweetspot, a perfect racket for beginners and recreational players. With the Vibrasorb System, each shot has extended comfort. This vibration-damping system is integrated into the racket neck above the handle and reduces vibrations that occur with each shot. The result is increased comfort and a reduced risk of injuries such as tennis elbow. Like previous models from Babolat, Vertuo Air is designed with HPS-Technology. Hole Pattern-System provides more speed and control thanks to the drilled holes in the racket being adapted to the racket's shape and sweetspot. This gives more effect in the shots for more speed and more grip on the ball for increased spin.
