Description from manufacturer
One of the perhaps biggest successes of 2021 is now being released with an entirely new core in Metalbone HARD. Just like its sibling Metalbone 3.1, Metalbone HARD is one of adidas' most advanced rackets. In Metalbone HARD, adidas has chosen to use a harder core to provide increased precision and resistance during powerful strikes. The combination of the hard high-density core and the responsive surface made of 100% aluminized and braided carbon fiber allows you to achieve greater power in every shot. The outermost layer of the hitting surface also has the same sandpaper texture for increased spin and momentum as Metalbone 3.1. Unique to Metalbone is the weight and balance system in the heart of the racket, released in 2021, which gives the player the ability to adjust the balance and weight of the racket as desired. You can make the racket more head-heavy to provide more power or control with a lower balance. Or you can play with the racket as it is. Simply put, it is entirely up to you as a player to choose the way you want to dominate your opponents. The racket is also part of adidas' new #GREENPADEL initiative, which means that adidas plants 3 square meters of their own rainforest to reduce CO2 emissions by 50 kg.
