Description from manufacturer
Maxima Summum Junior is back in a new form. The incredibly appreciated racket was one of the absolute best sellers among juniors in 2021. The reason for this success is the fact that Varlion uses techniques found in their top models and understands that juniors grow, develop, and don't always remain juniors. Probably the best junior racket on the market, focusing both on the junior's current play and their development. Recommended for ages 7-13 years. The racket features Varlion’s SUMMUM technology, which means the racket handle is a bit longer and the hitting surface is longer than usual. MAXIMA is the name of the unique shape of the racket, a hybrid between a drop and a round shape where control is prioritized. The racket has a strong focus on helping the junior at the moment while also focusing on development and what’s to come. The racket’s frame and hitting surface are made of fiberglass to provide a comfortable feel and the ability to easily generate speed on the ball along with the soft core. As with several of Varlion's rackets, this model also has holes drilled in different sizes, a feature the brand calls GRADUAL HOLES. This means that the holes are smaller in the middle so that you can have as much hitting surface under the ball as possible, then get larger as they approach the frame. The reason for this is to give the player a larger sweet spot, regardless of model, and a more forgiving feel. HANDLESAFETY means that the wrist strap is attached to the handle instead of the knob to make it nearly impossible for the strap to wear off.
