Description from manufacturer
Maxima Summum Junior is back in a new form, The incredibly popular racket was one of the absolute bestsellers of 2021 among juniors. The reason for its success is the fact that Varlion uses techniques also found in their top models and that Varlion understands that juniors grow, develop, and do not always remain juniors. Probably the market's best junior racket with a focus both on the junior's current play and their development. Recommended for ages 7-13 years. In the racket, Varlion has used SUMMUM technology which means the racket's handle is a bit longer and the hitting surface is longer than usual. MAXIMA is the name of the unique shape of the racket, which is a hybrid between a teardrop and round where control is prioritized. The racket has a strong focus on helping the junior in the present while also focusing on their development and what is to come. The racket's frame and hitting surface are made of fiberglass to provide a comfortable feeling and the ability to easily generate speed on the ball together with the soft core. Just like in several of Varlion's rackets, this model also has holes drilled in varying sizes, something the brand calls GRADUAL HOLES. This means that the holes are made smaller in the center to ensure as much of the hitting surface is under the ball as possible, then made larger the closer they are to the frame. The reason for this is so that you as a player get a larger sweet spot, regardless of the model, and a more forgiving feel. HANDLESAFETY means that the wrist strap is attached to the handle instead of the knob to make it almost impossible for the strap to tear off.
