Description from manufacturer
This is a fantastic top racket from Nox that incorporates the latest technology to give the player maximum speed and good control. With its teardrop shape combined with medium balance, the racket has a large sweet spot, which means that even shots hit slightly off-center deliver good speed and feel. The racket reduces vibrations very effectively, contributing to a wonderful hit sensation. The Nox GT8 is made with a frame of 100% carbon fiber; the hitting surfaces are made of fiberglass covered with a layer of 3K carbon fiber, making it more durable. The core is an HR3, which generates better speed in offensive play at the net and good control in calmer play from the baseline. A carbon fiber frame makes the racket more durable and provides a more solid hit sensation. The hitting surface is made of 3K Silver, contributing to a soft and incredibly pleasant hit sensation. 3K Silver is an exclusive surface layer that involves weaving fiberglass into 3K carbon fiber to enhance the playing feel. The surface has a texture similar to sandpaper, which contributes to better grip on the ball and good access to spin. DCS is a technology that increases the hit sensation and allows shots hit off-center to generate good speed and control. Rubber pieces have been applied on either side of the racket's neck to reduce vibrations upon impact, as the vibrations travel down towards the handle, reducing the risk of injury and increasing comfort.

A good racket for the defensive recreational player, but for those who want to work on their offensive game, I would recommend looking for something stiffer.
